Rebecca Selph (Johnson) passed away last week. Her family is deeply saddened by their sudden loss. Rebecca was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. The family will hold a private service at a later date.

Like many of us, I am grateful for the time I got to spend with Rebecca and I wish we had more. The purpose of this page is twofold: first, to facilitate a memorial fund for her family to relieve some of the financial stress a loss like this creates. Because of the fees fundraising sites charge, we have set up a Paypal account for this purpose Here is a link to the Paypal account. I am the temporary custodian of account, with Becca’s Mom’s knowledge, until we can finish setting things up.  If you would like to donate and don’t use paypal please use the contact form at the bottom of this post and let me know.

Second, I would like to collect memories and stories from those of you that knew and loved her. Whether she was a constant presence in your life or a whirlwind that only touched down for a short time, Rebecca was a force to be reckoned with. While many of us mourn her passing, I want to be sure to remember her life. I would love to hear your memories of her, and if you don’t feel comfortable submitting them via email please let me know and we can work something out. Over the next few days I will continue updating this site to make this memory project go more smoothly.

As a personal note, please take good care of yourselves while you process Rebecca’s passing. If you find yourself having difficulty, please reach out. I know that Becca’s tribe is made up of strong, diverse, and kind people, even if I haven’t met you personally.
